Remediation Help

Accessible finds the barriers, names the step where a task breaks, and shows whether a fix held. If your team wants help with the fixing itself, you can ask us. Remediation help is new and is for teams on a paid Accessible plan (Starter, Professional or Enterprise). It works on top of your plan: we scope each request, quote it, and only then start.

We’re taking a limited number of requests while we learn what subscribers need most.

What is remediation help?

Fixing accessibility barriers in your site's own code, starting from the findings already in your Accessible account: scan issues, journey reports and the barriers real visitors meet in monitoring. It isn't an overlay or a widget. Nothing is injected into your pages. Every fix is a change to your code that you can review and keep.

Who it's for

Teams on a paid Accessible plan (Starter, Professional or Enterprise) who have findings to fix and want another pair of hands, or a second opinion on where to start. The free Monitor plan doesn't qualify.

The help comes on top of your plan; it doesn't replace it. Scanning, journeys and monitoring keep running, so you can see whether each fix held.

Example packages

Each request gets a fixed scope agreed before any work starts. These are examples, not a complete menu. Tell us what you need.

  • Remediation plan review

We go through your open issues and journey reports with your team and turn them into a fix plan: what to fix first, which shared components clear the same issue across many pages, and what needs testing by an experienced assistive-technology user rather than more automation. You get a written plan, ordered by how many visitors each barrier reaches and how badly it blocks them.

  • Fix your top checkout or login blockers

For the steps where a journey stopped on the flows that matter most, such as sign-in, sign-up or checkout. Our team scopes the barriers on that path, fixes them in your code, then runs the journey again so the report shows what changed.

  • Help for agencies on a paid plan

For agencies testing client sites on a paid Accessible plan. Bring a client’s findings and our team will review them with you, help you scope the fixes you’ll deliver, or take on a defined piece of the work so your team can keep moving.

Who does the work

Our team does the work. The scope and quote are agreed up front, before anything starts.

How a request works

  1. Tell us what you need. Send the domain, the findings or journey you want help with, and anything we should know about your stack.
  2. We scope it. We look at the findings in your account and reply with what we'd do and a quote.
  3. You decide. Nothing starts until you agree the scope.
  4. Fix, then re-test. Fixes go into your code, and your plan's scans and journeys show whether each one held.

What it is not

  • Not a certification. No fix, report or re-test is a compliance certificate. Accessible documents what was tested, found and fixed.
  • Not an overlay. Fixes are made in your code; nothing is added to your pages to change them at runtime.
  • Not a replacement for expert testing. Journeys simulate a screen-reader user in a browser; they don't use NVDA, JAWS or VoiceOver. For high-stakes flows, include testing by people who use assistive technology every day.
  • Not a standalone service. Remediation help is for teams on a paid plan and starts from the findings in your account.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a paid plan to ask for remediation help?

Yes. Remediation help is for teams on a paid Accessible plan: Starter, Professional or Enterprise. The free Monitor plan doesn’t qualify. The help starts from the findings in your account, so we can scope the work against real evidence and re-test after the fixes. Your first paid plan opens with a 7-day trial.

How much does remediation help cost?

Each request is quoted after we’ve scoped it, because the work depends on your stack and the findings involved. There’s no charge to ask, and nothing starts until you agree the quote.

Who makes the fixes?

Our team. The scope and the quote are agreed with you before any work starts.

Will remediation make my site compliant?

No tool or service can honestly promise that. Remediation help fixes the specific barriers in the agreed scope, and your plan’s scans and journeys show whether each fix held. That record of what was tested, found and fixed is the evidence; it isn’t a certification.

Do you install an overlay or a widget?

No. Every fix is a change to your site’s own code. Accessible never injects scripts that rewrite your pages; the only script it adds is the monitoring script, which reads and doesn’t change.

Can agencies ask for help on a client’s site?

Yes, for client sites you’re authorized to test that are on a paid Accessible plan. Bring the findings and our team will scope the help with you.

Need a hand with what we found?

Tell us the domain and the findings you want help with, and we’ll come back with a scope and a quote.
