Monitor, scan and test, prove
Monitor real users
Monitor samples real sessions on your own site and records which barriers those visitors met, on which routes, and how often. No crawl, no test suite, no schedule — just what happened.
Scan and test
A plan adds the deliberate half: scans of every URL, screen-reader journeys through the tasks that matter, and re-runs that prove a fix landed. Monitoring tells you where to look; a plan tells you whether it is fixed.
Prove it
A plan also keeps the record — conformance reports, activity reports, exports and a shareable posture page — which is what you need when someone asks you to show your work.
What Monitor includes
- Real-user monitoring on one domain, sampling 25% of sessions by default, up to 2,000 beacons a day — about 20,000 sampled sessions a month.
- Barriers ranked by exposure — how many real visitors met each one, not how many times it appears in your markup.
- Pages we have never crawled, discovered from the routes your visitors actually reach — up to 200 new ones a day.
- The criteria monitoring could not check, stated as such. A rule nobody’s browser had the budget to run must never look like a rule that passed.
- 30 days of history, and one seat.
What Monitor does not do
- No URL scanning, and no scheduled scans.
- No screen-reader journeys, and no journey suites.
- No conformance reports, activity reports or exports.
- No public posture page or share links.
- No conformance claim of any kind. Monitoring reports what visitors hit; it does not certify anything, and no automated tool can.
- No daily digest. Monitoring records what visitors hit; a plan is what emails you when it changes.
