What a connected assistant sends Accessible, what we store, and for how long.

What the assistant sends us

Only what its tool calls contain: the address of the page to check. If you allowed it access to your sites, its calls also send site names, issue ids, a framework and page filters, and one tool turns monitoring on for a site you name. We don't receive your conversation, the rest of your question, or anything else in the assistant.

What we store

WhatWhyHow long
The page address and the check's result: automated findings, the screen-reader transcript, the keyboard path and the page's form fields (their labels and attributes, never anything typed into them)So the assistant can link you to a full report, and so a follow-up about the same page doesn't load it again15 days, reachable only by an unguessable link. No name, account or IP address is attached.
A count of your account's checks for the dayTo enforce the daily limitDeleted after two days
The name the assistant registered under, and the access tokens it holds for your accountTo let it make checks as youAn access token expires after an hour; a connection nobody uses lapses after 30 days

Your account itself is covered by our privacy policy.

What the assistant does with results

The assistant receives each tool's result and uses it in your conversation. What happens to your conversation after that is governed by the assistant provider's terms — OpenAI's for ChatGPT, Anthropic's for Claude — not by ours.

The pages you check

A check loads the page you name, once, the way a visitor's browser would. We don't crawl the rest of the site, sign in, type into forms or submit them. Check pages you're entitled to look at.

Our checker identifies itself in every request it makes. Its user agent is the browser's own, followed by:

AccessibleChecker/1.0 (+https://accessible.so)

Site owners can use that to recognise, allow or block it.
