Connect

Add Accessible to Claude, Claude Code or ChatGPT, and sign in with your free account.

On this page

Connecting takes a free Accessible account. When the assistant sends you to sign in, you can create one from the sign-in page.

The server address is:

https://app.accessible.so/mcp

Claude

  1. Add the connector

In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector. Name it Accessible and paste the server address.

  2. Sign in

Select Connect. Sign in to Accessible, or create an account, then choose Allow on the consent page. You're returned to Claude.

  3. Ask about a page

In a new conversation, ask something like What would a screen reader announce on https://example.com (opens in a new tab)?

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http accessible https://app.accessible.so/mcp

Then run /mcp in Claude Code, select accessible and sign in in the browser window that opens.

ChatGPT

In ChatGPT's settings, find the apps and connectors section and turn on Developer mode, then create a connector with the server address and OAuth as the authentication method. Sign in and choose Allow. ChatGPT renames these menus from time to time; OpenAI's help center has the current path.

Your ChatGPT plan and your workspace's settings decide whether you can add connectors. On a Business or Enterprise workspace, an admin may need to allow it.

Note

The consent page names the app that asked to connect, as that app described itself. Only choose Allow if you started the connection yourself.

Disconnecting

Remove the connector in the assistant's settings. The access it held expires on its own: an access token lasts an hour, and a connection nobody uses lapses after 30 days. To end it on our side straight away, write to privacy@accessible.so (opens in a new tab).

Signing out of accessible.so doesn't disconnect an assistant.

Troubleshooting

  • "Your account has reached today's limit" — each account can run 20 page checks a day. Limits reset at 00:00 UTC.
  • "We couldn't reach that page" — the page didn't load for the checker. Check the address, and whether the site blocks automated visitors or needs a login.
  • Asked to sign in again — the connection lapsed after 30 days without use, or was revoked. Connect again.
